Worked in a high-temperature, super-sonic missile nose tip wind-tunnel laboratory. The laboratory could be likened to a hot-air wind tunnel, in which air was heated to temperatures in excess of five times (5 x) the temperature of the surface of the sun, pressurized to pressures in excess of 3,000 psi and accelerated to sonic speeds of between Mach 2.3 to Mach 10.
